Welcome to the Capel Polocrosse Club

The Capel Polocrosse Club was founded in 1957 by a group of members whom to begin with practiced in a farm paddock and attending tournaments throughout country Western Australia. Since then the club has developed and today is equipped with an irrigator that provides a lush green leveled area capable of fielding 8 polocrosse fields.

Capel Polocrosse Club has hosted many events over the years including State Championships, Zone Championships, National Championships and International touring teams. In addition to hosting these events we have had several members who have competed at state, national and international level. The club continues to support local tournaments throughout Western Australia and holds regular training days for members to attend.

A strong social scene in our club makes sure for a good fun time at home and away at tournaments. During the season we train on weekends and during the week we meet at various members places to have an extra hit out and catch up. We hold ‘have a go’ days and provide coaching at local pony clubs to offer the opportunity for people to join in on the fun and give this wonderful Australian made sport a go.

The Capel Polocrosse Club is situated at the Capel Equestrian Centre on the corner of Goodwood Road and West Tutunup Road, Capel. Our club is one of several clubs that are operate under the Capel Equestrian Centre Banner. Together we are working towards a world class equestrian facility. To date we have facilities which are used for Polocrosse, Campdrafting, Pony Club, Eventing and Team Penning.
