ABOUT US
Capel Polocrosse Club was founded in 1957 and is based at the Capel Regional Equestrian Park. This venue is also home to local camp-drafting, riding for disabled, adult riding and pony clubs. Our club is very social with a real community and family feel. We have players of all ages and abilities, some having represented their zone, state and country.
The club has had many successes over the years including hosting the Australian National Championships in 1980, and in recent years winning the A Grade at the WA Club Championships (2021 & 2022)!
There are currently 4500 players approximately across the nation who play this tough sport. A national championships is hosted every two years and a World Cup every 4 years. Approximately 300 players across 3 zones and 17 clubs make up the Polocrosse Association of Western Australia.
Our club hosts at least 2 events a year and travel to compete at other club events throughout the season. We hold our annual general meeting mid year with a club awards event at the end of the season.
